CURRENT INTERN AND STAFF OPPORTUNITIES

After passing the 3-month evaluation and taking an OR Etiquette course, interns are allowed to shadow Dr. Yoo in the operating room. 

Interns have the opportunity to scribe and run clinics on the weekend. 

Interns and staff may be selected by Dr. Yoo to participate in Medical Mission Trips. Our upcoming trip will be to Peru in the Winter of 2022/2023. 

Interns are currently working to connect their peers to volunteer programs, such as Project Access, San Diego Brain Injury Foundation, and Eagle Condor. 

Past interns and staff members are available to meet with interns to assist them with medical school applications. These individuals also frequently hold seminars to focus on specific aspects of the application process. 

Staff and Interns prepare monthly presentations based on a patient case. They discuss the patient's medical condition and interview the individual at the seminar.
